About me, my love of quality fabrics and timeless hand me downs.

Firstly, I just want to say a big kia ora and thank you for stopping by this page, I am super excited that you are visiting us!

A little bit about me - my name is Jayne and I have dreamed of this idea for quite some time.

I have been drawing sketches of clothing since I was a little kid, making clothes for my dolls and teddies - you could say creativity is in my blood. I love beautiful textures and natural fabrics, and when something is beautifully kind to our home - the planet, I love them even more!

Like many mums I was dreaming of an idea where I could express my creative passion and balance that with being a mum working from home - thus ‘Little Linen Collective’ was born and is now my second baby.

I have been blessed with many beautiful hand me downs for my daughter over the past couple of years - so when it comes to buying clothes for her I want high quality, timeless pieces made in New Zealand that will last for generations to come. And I saw a gap in that market!

I understand that small children aren’t in clothes for long, but if an item lasts for years and I can hand it on my other kids, their kids or other mums, it‘s worth it.

Linen is an ancient fabric, in fact it’s been around for 10,000 years so it’s proven it’s quality, it is 100% sustainable in its purest form plus it looks and feels beautiful. If you take care of the linen the linen will take care of you!

I have many plans for the future of Little Linen Collective including a range of womenswear, and for children, a line of winter wear in 2023. All clothes are made for comfort, style, using kind-to-the-planet materials.

I am committed to my role as a kaitiaki, looking after the environment for the future generations and have plans to offset the carbon that is used for getting some of the linen to Aotearoa.

I have lots of plans for Little Linen Collective and look forward to sharing our progress with you.

Thanks again for stopping by, it means the world.
